Long time no see! It's been awhile since I've been on here or played with crete. Decided to jump right back into it. Not a good idea. Grabbed a 2 foot rhubarb leaf, watched Gris's video and went to work I think my mix was fine, although I didn't have fibers. Now for the mistakes : I didn't cut the veins down enough, they are pretty deep, didn't put enough crete in one area and now have a hole all the way through about the size of a penny. Can I repair this? thanks!
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to repair it. What I would do, (from the advice of others when I had a similar questions) flip the leaf back over so the hole has a backing, make up a small mix with fortifier, wet the area really well with a spray bottle and layer the mix over the hole. As you would if making one from scratch. I'd probably do another layer over the whole thing after that then cover
